ABOUT THE IMAGE: The Legend of Sleepy Hollow is a segment of The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad, a 1949 animated adaptation produced by Walt Disney, and narrated by Bing Crosby. It is an animated cartoon adaptation of the story, paired with a similar treatment of Kenneth Grahame s The Wind in the Willows. It premiered without The Wind and the Willows as part of an episode of Disneyland on October 26, 1955 featuring Walt hosting a short biography of Washington Irving. It was reissued as a stand-alone short on November 26, 1958.
Ok Jack Kinney, Clyde Geronimi and Frank Thomas embedded in the sheet to the left of the title by the film s directors.
ABOUT THE MEDIUM:Â A model sheet is a group of character drawings illustrating different poses and expressions of a cartoon character. Because a number of artists worked on a single cartoon, these sheets were circulated to the animators to give a uniform look and feel to a character throughout a production.
